Supporter Coaching

For parents, partners, and friends who want to better understand and support the neurodiverse people they love, without losing themselves in the process.

Supporting a neurodiverse person can be deeply rewarding.  You get to witness their brilliance, creativity, and unique way of seeing the world.  But it can also be confusing, frustrating, or downright exhausting when you’re not sure what helps, when communication misfires, or when you’re simply running on empty yourself.

How can Supporter Coaching help?

Support coaching gives you a space to pause and breathe. It’s a confidential, judgement-free zone where you can talk honestly about what’s hard, what’s working, and where you might need support.  We’ll explore your role, your understanding, and your wellbeing - because helping someone else thrive shouldn’t come at the cost of your own.

Together, we’ll look at practical ways to:

  • Communicate more clearly and calmly (even in tricky moments)

  • Set healthy boundaries that protect both connection and energy

  • Manage expectations — yours and theirs — with more compassion

  • Build empathy and perspective without losing yourself in the process

You’ll leave each session with a clearer understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface, how to respond rather than react, and how to look after yourself while showing up for someone else.

Please note: these are one-to-one session designed as a space for you to focus on your experience, perspective, and growth as a supporter - they are not group, family or couples sessions.
